"I recognize you--you vote here all the time!"

Apparantly twice = all the time. They ran out of stickers at the poll (which I guess is good), so this will have to do. Today I did my small part to make the very red state of TX slightly more purple (mulberry, even?)... but they just called Texas for the Bush column, which I guess is not unexpected. Maryland, I miss you today. Until I get some electoral votes headed my way (one or two out of thirty-something would be fine), I refuse to pledge to the Texas flag.

  1. did you vote at lanier like i did? i thought they were very nice. they let me use their signup table to fill out my change-of-address form since i was on crutches and the table was convenient.

the thing that sucks about being a texas liberal under the bush(es) administration(s) is that your presidential vote never, ever feels like it counts.

  2. In protest, I am keeping my living room clock set an hour ahead: east coast time. This actually works wonders since I never quite got used to the central time zone TV schedule. Now I can say, "oh look, 8pm, time for the OC!"
