What Seattle feels like (sort of):



I have been to Pike Place market, the gum wall (on accident), and last week I met the Fremont troll. That bridge is just north of where we live. I drive over it on my way to work, and then I take the most windingest road around the top of Lake Union to the university.

The clouds are really cloud-y.

It's a Dog's Life

I started my new job this week and they are walking me / keeping me busy. It is exhausting. No time to blog, only to nap.

BUT

Day 2 and who did I meet on campus??

Dubs, the official UW Husky dog!



I did not snap a picture because I did not realize this was the one official husky dog and that Dubs spottings can be rather elusive; I just thought, "oh cool, someone has a husky." Clearly, I am an idiot.

But at least I reacted with the appropriate amount of jaw-droppage when he looked right at me and did this:
