So, I'm moving.

I pause here, realizing that I just told a class of seventh graders that starting a sentence with "so" is generally unneccesary. The tone of this blog, however, is conversational, and I'm going to do it anyway. So, deal with it.

Yes--moving! I'm trying to make it as difficult as possible for family and old friends to track me down. Actually, the new place is much homier: it's in an historic neighborhood, half of a duplex, NO upstairs neighbors (if I never have to hear the thud thud thud of people walking above me while I'm trying to sleep, it will be too soon), and plants and windows for personal wellness. I'm excited. Kitty is excited. Actually, she has no idea, but she WILL be excited when she sees all those plants to eat.

This makes four homes in four years, and my second apartment living on my own.
