We sleep in the bed we make

It's cold in my room.

Lately I've been going to bed fully dressed, because I'm too cold to change. I shove the cat aside, thereby stealing her warm spot, and curl up next to three Target bags, a pile of rejected clothes, and a Harry and David gift box with apples and pears (I ate all the chocolates).

It occurs to me that by age 25, I never expected to be sharing my bed with produce.

  1. The answer to your cold room problems is a space heater. I can't live without mine. I turn it on at like 11:30 since I'm usually in bed by midnight, and it's wonderfully warm. Also, it will allow you to turn off the heat in the rest of your place, thus saving on your heating bill. There's no reason to heat the living room all night when all you want is a warm room. Get a space heater...it's great!

Do they even sell those in Texas?

Eat the apples and pears, they're good for you!
