how i spent my summer vacation (earnings)

I'll spend my entire salary on picture books to use in the classroom if I'm not careful, so instead I made a wishlist (search for maryATfruitcakebrigadeDOTcom). I ordered them by priority: anything that's a number 1 I will have to buy before school starts because I'm already planning on using it. The number 2 books have to do with this being an election year, so they are also time-sensitive. All the others would just be really nice to have. If you would like to donate one for the children of Houston you can look forward to a homemade thank you card (and maybe a book review?) in the fall.
