Day 6

exfoliating

My mother told me on Sunday that human cells replace themselves every three months. "Wait, all cells? Even the organs? Are you telling me we get a new body every three months?"

We weren't sure, and assumed that it was probably an exageration. Nevertheless, when I got out of the shower yesterday and habitually rubbed off dead skin from my legs, it was comforting to think that this skin I wear now will be gone, is already dead and healing itself, like chapped lips or skinned knees.
