Benefit update: no tree haters at my table.
In fact, one of Houston's most influential liberal lawyers.
Which was great, 'cause I think trees are totally cool.
And they were all charming and welcoming.
And we possibly raised a lot of money, which is what I do now.
I did get reamed out by a guest early in the evening, but that's another story.
Tomorrow morning I fly out to DC for a national staff meeting and alumni summit.
I'm not ready, but at least I'm not alone.
Are these posts getting a little, "Today I did this and felt x way about it"?
