I LOVE LOVE LOVE MY HYUNDAI ELANTRA.


(not my actual car, but this is what it looks like)

My favorite quotes from an entire day spent on the phone and in dealerships:

Rep1: "So what you're saying is you want a lot of car for very little money."
Me: "Doesn't everyone?"

Rep2: "Now the Scion... does that come with leather seats and a CD player?"
Me: "Yep, standard."
Rep2: "But does it have the 10-year warranty?"
Me: "It's a Toyota."
Rep2: [pause] "True."

Rep3: "$13,000? You're offering $13,000 for a brand new Elantra GT? [chuckle]"
Me: "I have exceptionally good credit."

Rep3: "Are you trying to put us out of business?"
Me: "Look, I have been all around this city today. I have been north and south and west and on the phone and these are the numbers and YOU have my car and I am TRYING to give you my $3000 tonight."
Rep3: "You should stay off the internet."

Rep3: "How much do you think your [Neon] is worth?"
Me: "Have you seen my car?"

I think I did pretty well, for a blonde chick.
Incidentally, the Neon was worth $800.
I thought I'd be paying them to take it away.
