I worked hard in December and asserted myself rather than holding onto resentments; I made time for family and friends and romance; I tried to be kind to myself and others and celebrate the season without stressing out over it too much. In early December, preparing for a parade of holiday visitors and recognizing an abundance of blessings, I pledged to document. (And, gratefully, have come to an end.)
I'm saying goodbye to 2011 and hello to 2012 surrounded by people I love. And, even if it were just me and the cat and a prayer, I think that I have the tools I need to make it ok.
