Rice Village has lost its freaking mind!
Even if you've never tried to eat or shop in this trendy four-block radius just outside Rice University, you've probably experienced something like it. Sparse parking filled to capacity, and every free spot you do find loudly declares "Ben and Jerry's parking ONLY" or "Reserved for Urban Outfitters, you Square," or "Fed Ex 3 minute parking hurry up" or "Good Neighbor Cleaners... WE TOW." (Creative license aside, I'm not kidding about that last one.)
It's a blessing to find a nice big open lot, and a joke to see a sign like this announcing that you should know the street address of Chloe's Project Runway winning boutique, Lot 6, or wherever it is you're trying to get to. Uhh... Bravo Lane? #1?
